Every nation and ethnicity has many traditional cultures that need to be preserved and symbolize their country.
Among these, some cultures are continuously inherited and developed, whether on a national or personal level,
while others are not. Often, the former category leads a nation to be recognized as a cultural powerhouse or
a developed country, whereas the latter generally leads to the opposite path.

Doesn't our country have a brilliant cultural heritage along with a long history?
Although there are cultures that have been lost due to interrupted history or have disappeared, our duty in this era is to strive to excavate and restore our traditions as closely as possible to their original forms, even if there might be some errors.

In the field of our Kummooyeh, we must re-recognize its value and not only focus on excavating and restoring our ancestors' traditional Kummooyeh but also creatively develop it to fit the modern era.
The martial arts of the past, which were about survival and struggle, should transform into a Kummooyeh
for modern people for mental and physical training and self-realization, aimed towards the future.
The path of a martial artist should be based on the experiences and wisdom honed by our predecessors, refining martial arts and transmitting them to fit the modern era, continuously evolving into a desirable martial art for the future.

Therefore, we should reinvent ourselves as martial artists, developing from the inside out through the correct
reformation of our sword culture, to become a martial art that integrates into our daily lives.

The federation will strive to inherit the excellent traditions of our ancestors, while also developing a sword culture that encompasses the martial arts culture of the present era. We will work together with all members and instructors to make our uniquely Korean Kummooyeh, which we pride ourselves on, stand shoulder to shoulder with the top martial arts nations of the East and West, becoming the most global sword martial arts federation.
